“The themes of redemption, love, and loss are those that every heart can relate to. The destruction of Halifax during WWI opened a wellspring of real stories founded on courage and community strength that we can all look to, to be inspired.”

Leah Lindeman has been working toward publication for five years while raising three young children. She graduated with honours from the Institute for Children’s Literature. Being a history buff, she decided to combine her two loves of literature and history to write historical fiction. She is currently marketing her first novel and is eager to finish the rewrites and edits for the second one Wisps of Gold, coming out in 2018.

    Hi Don,

I thought it was about time I filled in my about. I hope the suspense was worth the wait. I think there’s still a little mystery left to satisfy the overly curious.

    A good day to you,
